How We Recycle - The Process Explained

The Why

The proliferation of e-waste poses significant risks to the environment and the health of our population. Improper disposal leads to environmental contamination and health hazards due to the toxic substances present in these electronic devices. Responsible recycling and proper management of e-waste are essential to reduce environmental and health and safety risks and promote sustainability.  Recycling offers numerous benefits, including conserving natural resources, reducing landfill waste, mitigating pollution, and promoting a more sustainable and environmentally-friendly future.

The How

Phase 1: Contact

After speaking to a representative and scheduling your pickup, our team will safely remove and transport your surplus equipment to our secure facility on the day and time of your choosing.

Phase 2: Accounting

Our receiving team will record, scan and catalog the contents of your pickup.  All data-bearing devices will be removed, segregated and separately scanned in preparation to be moved to our secure data area.

Phase 3: Data Sanitization

All data-bearing devices will be  securely sanitized based on multiple regulatory standards for data sanitization and data sanitization certificates will be generated.

Phase 4: Remarketing and Recycling

Our team of experienced, certified technicians will process and refurbish your devices for remarketing.  If any equipment is non-functional or unmarketable, it will be consolidated and recycled through our R2v3-certified downstream chain to end-of-life materials recovery.  If your company prohibits reuse, that service can be provided upon request.

Final Phase: Certification

At the completion of the project, Certificates of Recycling and Data Sanitization will be provided to your company to complete compliance and transparency.
