FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

How much does it cost to recycle?

Fees are based on multiple factors such as distance, quantities and contents of the pickup. We tailor the fees to the specific pickup.

What happens to our equipment?

Clutec follows the “Reuse – Recover – Recycle” Management Strategy. Equipment reuse is the most environmentally sustainable option for end of life equipment. Whatever cannot be reused is disassembled to commodities and shipped to our R2 Certified downstream vendors for end-of-life processing to create raw materials for new equipment. If your company or organization prohibits reuse, dismantling and physical destruction can be fulfilled upon request.

Do we receive a confirmation or certification that our data has been sanitized and our equipment has been recycled?

Yes. Clutec will provide serialized accounting and disposition of every data bearing device in your pickup. Detailed individual drive certs are also available upon request. We will also provide a Certificate of Recycling with weights and types of equipment recycled.

Do we need to pack the equipment for pickup ourselves?

No. Our specialists will bring rolling carts to transport your equipment to our vehicle on the day of your pickup. No labor from your company is required. If there is a loading dock available, we can even palletize your equipment on-site.

Do you require we call for a pickup at regular intervals?

No. When you are ready for your next pickup just contact us and we will arrange the pickup based on your time schedule. No commitment required.

Do you do pickups beyond the New England Region in other states?

Yes. We partner with regional LTL carriers to transport palletized equipment from your facility to ours. We also utilize Fedex and UPS for smaller batches of non-palletized recycling.
