ELECTRONICS RECYCLING
In today’s highly technological world, it is important to ensure that your electronic devices are properly recycled when they are at end-of-life status. A large number of what is labeled as “e-waste” is actually not waste at all, but rather whole electronic equipment or parts that are readily marketable for reuse or can be recycled for materials recovery. Clutec has the experience and the expertise to both repurpose and recycle these devices properly. The equipment that passes through our secure facility never reaches a landfill.
At Clutec, we are R2:Repsonsible Recycling and RIOS certified, highlighting our commitment to safely and efficiently process all devices to the strict standards of these certifications. Clutec is one of 900 R2 certified facilities worldwide.
PICK UP SERVICES
Clutec will transport your devices to our secure facility in Woburn, MA. Pickups can be scheduled on an on-call basis or on a regular schedule. We can also arrange for a Freight Carrier to pick up your palleted equipment, regardless of your location, if you are not in the New England area, or outside our service range. DATA DESTRUCTION AND SANITIZATION
Data is your company’s most important protectable asset. At Clutec, the protection of your data is our most important priority. Using the latest industry standards and state-of-the-art equipment and processes, Clutec will sanitize your data-containing devices. As a value-added service, physical destruction of devices is also available. Whatever the method used, a certificate of destruction is generated with the serial number and disposition of each device, providing your company with peace of mind and an official record of what was received and how it was sanitized. Our Data Destruction Managers have a combined 30 years experience in data destruction and certification. Trust the security of your data to the professionals. Our data destruction techniques and practices are compliant to the NIST 800-88 Standard and is also fully HIPPA and GLBA compliant.
EQUIPMENT REPURPOSE
Not all equipment is destined for destruction and recycling. The best thing we can do for our environment is to repurpose equipment to extend its life, therefore reducing the environmental impact on our earth. Our company follows the “Reuse – Recover – Recycle” Management Strategy. This allows us to designate less material for final stage recycling and more material to be refurbished and reintroduced into the marketplace, which is, ultimately, the cleaner, more green option for these electronic devices. The more refurbished material that achieves its lifespan being extended means less new material being introduced into the overall equipment lifecycle chain, in turn bringing us closer to our goal of significantly more efficient sustainability.
